Well, before I start, I just want to say say sorry for not responding to everyone's comments in my last Journal... While In was on my way to reply to them, I failed to see the relevance so... Meh, time passes I guess, so, sorry about that!

The Expo


Heh, I know, it was just under a month ago but... OmL It was STILL AWESOME as EVER!! I guess I just want to thank EVERYONE who tagged along and gave us all a fan-TABULOUSLY awesome time time! <3 Lol, I Cosplayed as Haku from Naruto... Heh, I was actually quite surprised by how many peeps wanted to take my photo and stuff, I thought that with me being Haku that I wouldn't get that much attention! O.o Hehe, in fact, I even managed to become an Ex-Boyfriend, and a New Gay Best Friend....ALL IN ONE SENTENCE! 00; But I am flattered! Lol, if that girl's on here, then, that was mee!! <3 In fact, I've JUST found a photo from an AWESOME peep that was there! Lookie --> <-- and the Zabusa is the AWESOME Lol, fail Pose is made of FAIL! The Flat...

Now, for more, well, disheartening news.... I know that some of you may have read in =mikey-aofw's journal but for those that haven't....

We lost the Flat....

Unfortunately, with Skipton being so pedantic with financial detail and with a National Post strike under way and delaying all our vital paperwork...there was nothing we could really do to save it. But, to make us feel better. We're both pinning most of the blame on RBS for messing around with us in the first place... Otherwise, we'd probably have finished redecorating by now... T__________T

*sigh*

Oh well, it IS disappointing but, hey, life goes on! Heh, just as well I changed my Journal header back to "Hope". I mean, moping around isn't going to do us good now is it? So, to stop a MAJOR Depression dead in its tracks, Mike and I are picking ourselves back up and getting right back to house hunting. Flats are too much hassle for something that'll only fit the three of us (3rd being my Cat, Minnie. ) in there. So, after I scared the receptionist at Jones and Chapman over the phone, to try and see if there was ANYTHING we could do to save it (lol, poor Pauline... ) we've both been looking around, and have found quite a few other properties to have a nosey at near the Ferry's to Liverpool.


Other news

In other news...I FINALLY have a JOB!! I'm officially a Cleaner in a local School. WHEEEEEE!!!!! Awww, and the people are SUPER, super nice! Lol, so far I'm being treated like a God Send! Because apparently...for every team they've had, they've NEVER been able to keep a Member No: 3 (i.e: Me) so they're really pleased that I decided to go and stick with them! Although, they DID promise to make my Life a living hell if I did anything wrong... O.O; Mind, as God as my Father, I'm sure I won't.

But despite getting an extra income and getting off my lazy backside (for a change lol )....now I can ACTUALLY be of some use in another Mortgage Application! Lol, FINALLY! Awww, I really can't tell you how good it feels to say that I can finally help my Mikey out properly with our future home. Lol, then there's our Big Day to save up for. Hopefully, this enough to help get both these ambitions afloat.




Now, despite of all these happenings, most of them good mind! .... I was recently informed of a, erm, "Ill Deed" made by one of my good friends on here. Now I WON'T go into detail, simply because it's not my place to, but I will share this.

When I was being told what had happened, at first, admittedly, I was appalled, disgusted at what was being said. But seeing as this was from one party, and to be fair, I tried to hear out the Accused's side of the story...although it was vague, and, quite pitiful actually... I gathered that what I was told...

...was true.

Now, first I was really angry, angry at the fact that this person was trying to get sympathy off everyone for doing something so....WRONG! However...I felt as though God was telling me something, something that went like this:

"Be still, and listen. Forgive him, for I love the Sinner....but not the Sin."

To remain being as fair as I humanly can...I refuse to take sides. However, I do think that both parties should find some means of peace and put this terrible thing behind you. On the other hand, I also appreciate the gift of Free Will, and so, I will entrust the people concerned with their decisions.

As for the wrong-doer... Please don't take offence if I say that I feel I should increase my guard and keep my distance. I hope that you also forgive yourself...and find it in your heart to realise just how much damage you've truly caused through a severe lack of self control.


For those of you who read this, and wish to know what's going on....then I'm afraid it's not my place to go into detail, either in here or via noting. However, if the concerned parties wish for me to take this part of my journal down, then I would be obliged to...

....I only thought it fair to try and teach everyone else to focus on the Rose, and not just the Thorns.

He hee, it's just occurred to me that I always call Journal Updats "Lil' Updates" when they always, always, always eat everyone's poor scroll bars...

XD Lol, I guess I just talk to much. But stroof almighty, there's been so much happening as of late that I don't know where to start! Meh, I'll give it my best shot anyways.



Main News: Beating the Investor

Yep, some of you may have been reading in Mikey's Journals about moving out and stuff like that. Well, I'm going to update on that a little. Me and Mikey have been looking at flats and stuff, as we do, when we came across this one particular Flat in Moreton (in a culdi-sac like area called West Way Square. It's lovely round there. ) So, we went to see a Mortgage Adviser (STROOF, they are SCARY people! They're so robotic! 0_0) Anyway, she did a few calculations, and after about 2 hours later, we received 2 phone calls. The first one told us that we could only borrow up to £30 odd thousand (This was because Mikey had intended to have a Solo Mortgage, and then add me later....preferably when I had a Job.) Naturally, we were mortified... then we started blaming my Families' poor credit history AND that my Older Sister could well have Black Listed my parent's house (she has a bad reputation for borrowing money and not paying it back... ) So, this had a knock-on affect on me and my likelihood of being ABLE to move out.... -_-

Then, when we thought all hope was lost...we got another Phone Call from our adviser, and she asked for more information about my income. Mikey then told her about my DLA, and then, as if out of no where, our adviser told us that we could borrow £67,000. Lol, we still question where she got THAT amount from but who cared!? In joy, we viewed the flat at the appointed arrangement, and really liked the look of it. Honestly, it's a lovely thing! Only needs a face lift in terms of refurbishing and stuff, and it's quite big. O.O For a Flat, you'd expect this little box thing, but this wasn't. Anyway, we liked it so much so that we booked a second viewing, and dragged both our families along (to be on the safe side) to see if they liked and "approved" of it (<-- lol, just before Mike comes home and reads this part, I MUST emphasis that I'm talking about MY parents, they are INCREDIBLY picky. ) Luckily, they did, and so, we were thinking about putting an offer on it... Unfortunately (and this is where the Mini title comes in) the lady who let us view it, also told us that someone else has interest in it...

...An Investor, or, better known as, a Greedy Property Developer; who basically buys a property under the asking price, spends about £10k renovating it. Then, when they're done, they stick it back on the Property Market for £10k MORE THAN IT'S WORTH. Thus, making it almost impossible for First Time Buyers, such as Mikey and myself, to even tread our first step onto the Property Ladder... (hence why we hate them...that, and they've ALWAYS taken a place we're interested in right from under our noses )


However...there is some hope.


The lady who let us view the flat, (her name's Jane btw... a Lovely, lovely lady ) she informed us that the other party WAS a Property Developer...and she did something quite naughty...so naughty in fact that it could cost the poor lady her Job, if the Estate Agents ever found out...

dear Jane was kind enough to tell us that the developer had put in an Offer of £50k....£9k UNDER the asking price, she also told us to ask for a guy called Peter, and put in an offer of £58k on the same day she informed us. Jane did this for us, because she told us that she would MUCH prefer the Flat go to a, First Time Buyer, like ourselves, rather than an Investor. Simply because, we would live in it....not just throw it back on the market like trash and hope for a profit. -______-


In light of this, my Mum and Dad had to depart, so, Mikey, his Mum and myself raced off to the Estate Agents, and put in the offer of £58k AND a Surveyor (to check for structural competence and stuff) Funnily enough, the guy we needed was the one that let us in, and so, we put in the offer. Unfortunately, the other guy that's selling the property is away until Monday....and so, Mikey and I are currently in the worst part of the Property buying thing....

...The Wait. Lol, honestly, all weekend, we've been standing on pins, hoping and praying that the Landlord will look more kindly on the Newbies... <:3 But of course, it all depends on how much the Investor wants the Flat as well... <:S

So please, everyone, we implore you to pray for us for Monday... We've had SO many disappointments with flats and housing because of Investors......and I can't bare to see Mikey so upset again... not after all he's been through with potential New Home's...

In other news, well, there's not much here, only that my Brother and I are currently House Sitting while our Parents are away for a week.

OML Howdy Folks!!! XD My Lord.....what an EMO episode that was in my last journal.... Meh, either way, you'll be glad to know that I feel MUCH better now! ...and before I get a start onmy journal, I just want to take this opportunity to apologise to those who felt that they were responsible for the "Grand Ban of SF Art".. he hee, Icon included. XD Anyway, I'm sorry you guys, you did nothing to contribute to my foul mood and rash actions...

I'm sorry...

Right then, now that's out of the way... he hee, there's been quite a lot that happened to me over the last few weeks.. all the more reason to stop rambling and get on with it! XD


:Main News: The Scarlet-Vixen vs H1N1

A.k.a: SWINE FLU! yep that's right, after all the jokes and the random "Free Swine FLu!" signs...it's finally hit us... luckily though it got my older sister and not Mike (who happens to have Asthma... so you can imagine how fast he ran out the house when he found out. ) Lol, when we all found out, we decided to try and disinfect the ENTIRE house! (NOT very easy when the Flu-ee is there as well, seeing as she decided it would be a good idea to try and infect everyone else as well... ) So, wherever she went, we had to follow her with Dettol Spray and anti-viral and bacterial wipes. As well as wash our hands with Purel (for those who don't know, Purel is an anti viral, alcoholic hand wash that they use in hospitals) every five minutes (lol, honestly, it was like we all spontaneously developed OCD though, the disorder is nothing to laugh at... -__-) Luckily though, our efforts paid off and now she's feeling much better after completing her course of Tamiflu and us all managing to contain the Virus successfully!

Lol to be honest....Swine flu wasn't as bad as the media makes it out to be....basically it's just normal Flu with a different name and strain... Nothing spectacular really...except for a whole load of puking. Lol, but it doesn't mean to say you should let your guard down...over the past week or so, I've had a couple of scare cases...but luckily, what I've got is a Summer Cold...and a lot of dust floating around. XD

So yes...ye be warned!


Main News cont': Back to Square one

Anyway, moving on. In other main news...for those that don't know... I lost my second job... T_______________________________________________________T Lol, apparently I couldn't cope with the tills after people kept on taking all my change, because they couldn't be bothered to bring in the right change for a freakin Dohnut and a packet of CRISPS! WTF!? <-- XD Lol, was dying to use him. So yeah! Because of them, I lost my bloody job! *sighs* Oh well...I suppose it's for the best really...I mean, it did get really boring at times, the oven in the back was UNBEARABLY hot, especially in an environment with NO form of ventilation sparing the back and front doors... and there was this one girl there that kept on giving me an EPIC Cold Shoulder. Honestly, no matter how hard I tried to get on with her, she would just blank me. 0.0; Not that I'm an attention seeker or anything, but I just find that the day goes much quicker if your more sociable with colleagues. All in all, I am disappointed (especially seeing as I managed to lose it and become jobless again after just two weeks! Lol YAAAY NEW RECORD! *is trying to look on the bright side of this... -_-* )

Oh well, after a little bit of persuasion, I've signed on with Remploy, a company that works with disabled people to help them find work (and yes, I am disabled. ) So, I was supposed to be doing a two week Key Skills course in Job Hunting....until my sister's Swine Flu fiasco... -_- I had to stay off for 5 out of 14 days because of it...and with the threat of me contracting it as well (cheers sis... ¬.¬Anyway, after phoning them up, I had to reorganise a time for me to retake the course on the days where I was absent.

To help things move along more smoothly in the Job hunt AND the Moving Out plans with , I've signed back on with the Job Centre (he hee, good ol' Rapid Reclaim XD ) So yes, I'm back on the Dole... I'm not proud to have lost my job, and I know it's not much...but hey, it's better than doing nothing, right?


Mini-News:

He hee, lol, I don't think there's much I can put here really... Well, except that, seeing as I've banned any and all Star Fox Art from my gallery (well, except one) I've now found myself with time that I can't remember last having (save before all the requests came flooding in... -_-) He hee, and recently, I had someone ask me what I was going to do next...and I've decided to try and do something I really should have done a VERY long time ago (say, 2-3 years ago now? )

And that, is to try and finish: *in big, loud voice* "The 100 Themes Challenge" And about time too! I think I stopped at No: 23 before I was inundated with SF requests and of course "The Miarchy Project" (which has actually taught me a great deal in techniques for anatomy and stuff ) SO I guess I'll be focusing on that and any Gift Art, Art Trades, Commissions and other bits and bobs thrown in between.

Well folks, that's my lot, and I hope that everything is going well with everyone! Don't worry, I will eventually reply to all the lovely comments of support I received in my last journal. Your all the absolute best, thank you.

Hello everyone...


"Rage" is a word that seems to get thrown around aimlessly these days...and, I'll be perfectly honest when I say this, have never known it's real definition...nor it's purpose, for quite some time...

...At least until now.

I have come to the end of my tether with Star Fox Art. I've been used, harassed, put under unnecessary pressure (I WON'T be naming anyone in particular because there have been that many) and just recently, I've even had my work stolen, solely because of what it is. I have to I'm fed up of it. Worst of all, I am absolutely OUTRAGED by people who seem to think it's okay as long as they credit the Artist at the bottom...quite frankly....I feel insulted. Disgraced by the lack of basic respect for fellow human beings, and their right to feel free to draw whatever they so please as an Artist, without being constantly hassled to draw Star Fox stuff.

To me now...Star Fox is all boring, generic, cliché and unimaginative. So, from this day forward

I officially BAN any and ALL star fox related requests from my gallery...especially Krystal. Honestly, isn't there ENOUGH "art" of that Blue Harlot? It's because of this 3-D Mesh Work designed for THREE YEAR OLDS MINIMUM that you so called friends like my works to begin with! I just feel so SICKENED and BETRAYED by some of you who I thought I could trust, and who liked me as a person....NOT just as a resource for this False Idol of yours.

In light of this, I have removed all but one Star Fox related deviation...at least until further notice.


Now I must apologise to a good number of those of you who have been faithful and loyal, and I greatly thank you all for sticking around for my other stuff, my rants and my general updates, and for trying to help out where you could. Those of you concerned are what I call REAL friends. <: )



Concerning requests now... if you want one done that badly, then please decided to either Change it, or be rid of it. Because I just can't bear to even look at another Star Fox request, not now and not EVER again.



Now, if anyone has any objections they have to throw at me because of this decision, then I just have one thing to say:

Bring it on...


...I Don't Care Any more... and apologise to the genuine few.
