Wow, I've not done a 100 Themes Piece for quite a while. :S ^^; Damn Diploma Work, London Trip and Amateur Photoshop Challenge!!! :shakefist: Lols, nah just joking about the Photoshop Challenge, it was really fun to do! Honest! :D ^^; :aww: :hug:


Right then, I suppose I'd better explain what's going on. Right, basically, Scarlet is looking up in some Ancient Books about Angels, and is questioning her destiny as the Angel of Wind, who will inevitably, have to fight and defend against Hell's attempted invasion of Zion (short word for Heaven, and actually means "Highest Place" which technically, is Heaven. Wheee!! I'm clever!!! :D :boogie: :dance: ) And of
course, do a one-on-one battle with her counter part, Viente' Diablo, which I'll probably illustrate at some point. Don't really know, I'll wait until I've developed a proper story first I think!! XD Lols, I'd love to Animate it though.... :/

He he, and if you look closely at the front of the book, it's meant to be an Alien language, but it actually says "Woot" XD Lols, I was bored...... ¬_¬ And also, I think I've made Scarlet's expression look like Bugsey Malone's...... ^^; :blush:

Oh well, maybe in a few years time!! :aww: :D :)

Well, I hope the story makes sense, and I just want to say sorry for not uploading this sooner..... ^^;

Right then, on to the next one.....Blood. Oooooooooooh! XD

Nicely done. Scarlet looks really well as does her handling of the book. I also like the individual strings of hair going out of the ponytail(?).

The book stack looks a bit unreal to me. it has a bit of a filled-in-squared-box feeling to it. I think it's mostly because of the book second from top. it looks as if the pages are thicker on the right side then on the left side, which probably has to do with the fact it's a neat stack altogether, but the uppermost book is at an angle in comparison to the bottom book. What may work the next time is to draw the books one at the time; preferably starting at the top.

Also; given Scarlet's shadow, the books on the bookshelves look quite bright, considering they should be more or less in the shadow. The filling of the shelves works pretty well, though I would recommend trying individual, odd-sized books. some times in between. to make it look more three dimensional.

Nevertheless you can be proud of this yet another addition to the completion of the 100 theme challenge. I know I would die before I'd finish it; props to you for that.

Oh dear, I can see now that your right. Those bookshelves DO look too bright, out of place, and unnatural..... :S But at least I've been told and it's another thing to work on! :D ^^: But, I hope that my Proportions and Perspective are getting better, though probably not. Oh well! But, in my defence, I was in abit of a rush when I was completing this. You see, I, unfortunately, don't bear much patience for traditionally drawn and coloured backgrounds (except when I work with Water Colours! But the paper's quite expensive..... :S ) so because of my Procrastinative self, my background here has suffered quite considerable judging from your more than carefully written and thorough report I muct say. But I like your sort of comments, they're always so constructive and honest, and yet not too overbearing too! I love them! ^_________^

Thanks again for your wise words (note that I'm not being sarcastic, please ^^; ) I truly appreciate them. :)

BTW, how have you been? I've not seen you on my page for quite a while. Life been busy for you?

Hmm, I'm not too keen on the Background, it's too bright compared to the shadows that Scarlet and the Book have..... :/ Oh well, I did it in a rush, that's my excuse! XD Lols

Oh, hmm, let's see, I think I'm about upto 20 so far. But I've just not uploaded the other 4 yet! XD lols I'm lazy.... ;P

Ooooh! I would advise that you do it, it's a good Challenge to take if you want to challenge your level of creativity and understanding of yourself and how you like to work best. :) But I would advise that you only do it if you have enough free time, I mean, I started this last year I think, and I STILL haven't completed it because of college work and shit.... T_T
